Exjet Services has been re-certified to all three of its ISO management system standards. Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety systems were re-audited on 6 September 2026, and the new certificates run to 5 September 2029.
We have held ISO 9001 continuously since 2011 and a formal health and safety management standard since 2013. This renewal keeps that unbroken, and it covers the whole of what we do — including traffic management.

What each one actually means
ISO certification gets quoted a lot and explained rarely, so here is the plain version.
ISO 9001 — quality. It means we have a documented way of doing each job and we get audited on whether we actually follow it. In practice that is why a CCTV survey comes back with defect coding you can rely on, why the report says the same thing whichever engineer attended, and why a complaint gets recorded and closed out rather than forgotten.
ISO 14001 — environmental. Drainage work involves waste, and waste has rules. This covers how we transfer and dispose of what comes out of a tanker, how we handle a discharge to ground or a watercourse, and how we avoid turning a small problem into a pollution incident. For anyone dealing with the Environment Agency or the General Binding Rules, that matters.
ISO 45001 — health and safety. Our people work in confined spaces, in live carriageways and around deep excavations. This is the system that keeps them safe: risk assessments and method statements for each job, trained and ticketed operatives, and a review after anything that goes wrong or nearly does.
The certified scope
Certification is only meaningful within its scope, so here is ours as written on the certificates:
Drain services, CCTV drain surveys, drain and sewer cleaning and inspection, relining, vacuumation, sewage pipe laying and Principal Contractor for CDM. Traffic management.
Those last two words are worth noticing. Traffic management sits inside the certified scope, which means a job needing a road closure or a lane restriction is handled under the same audited system as the drainage work itself, by one contractor, rather than being handed to somebody else halfway through.
Why it matters if you are buying drainage work
If you are a housing association, council, NHS estate or main contractor, this is the paperwork your pre-qualification questionnaire asks for. The certificate numbers above, the certified scope and the expiry date are usually all that is needed. Ask us and we will send the certificates straight over.
If you are a homeowner or landlord, you will probably never look at a certificate. What it means for you is that the firm turning up has been independently audited on how it works — and that if something is not right, there is a process that requires us to put it right and record it.

Our engineers are directly employed rather than subcontracted, which is what makes an audited system worth having in the first place — you cannot audit a system you do not control.
